Liberland Roadmap RFC (Request for Comments)

Hi all

I’ve tried to find more LL (Liberland) info about certain crucial issues described below, but there appears to be none. Please correct me if I’m wrong! LL is an exciting venture and I’m willing to contribute with time and resources as long as I feel that the development is heading the right way towards a truly “Free Republic”.

The issues below are just a few from the top of my head when starting a Nation from “Square Zero”, and meant to serve as an example of RFCs dealing with issues like;

  1. Political agenda and goals concerning
  • BRICS
  • EU
  • NATO
  • UN, WHO, WEF…
  • IMF, BIS, Central Banks…
  1. Telecommunication infrastructure
  • global Internet traffic exchange (via Croatia and Serbia for now?)
  • creating an initial local WAN?
  • security, integrity and redundancy
  • the country-code top-level domain .LL is still available (hint, hint)
  • computers/smart phones are all leaking sensitive data. This can be avoided
  1. Sources of income/revenue (National level)

  2. Food production, “Amish-ish”?

  3. Sources of energy

If anyone cares to comment or enlighten us on the current development/state of the above, please respond and maybe suggest a better place on this forum and another structure of the different topics so they are easy to find.

Thank You, and Godspeed!

Superb topics for us to think about! I can comment on at least some of part 1.
Liberland does not plan to be part of the EU; while the idea of a common market is great, the regulatory and bureaucratic burdens - and steps to accession - are simply overwhelming. We do want good relations and trade with the EU - especially since our neighbor Croatia is an EU member. As far as the other organizations and blocs - we seek good relations, but not entangling alliances with them. Involvement with central banks are to be avoided, for reasons which are well-known. While we have our own governance and liquidity tokens, Liberland citizens are free to use any currency as legal tender in transactions with one another. Interestingly, both Montenegro and Kosovo unilaterally decided to use the euro without being part of the Eurozone. Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, and Vatican City also use euros but have agreements with the EU.

I just want to say I fully support this kind of policy.
