Liberland Roadmap RFC (Request for Comments)

Hi all

I’ve tried to find more LL (Liberland) info about certain crucial issues described below, but there appears to be none. Please correct me if I’m wrong! LL is an exciting venture and I’m willing to contribute with time and resources as long as I feel that the development is heading the right way towards a truly “Free Republic”.

The issues below are just a few from the top of my head when starting a Nation from “Square Zero”, and meant to serve as an example of RFCs dealing with issues like;

  1. Political agenda and goals concerning
  • BRICS
  • EU
  • NATO
  • UN, WHO, WEF…
  • IMF, BIS, Central Banks…
  1. Telecommunication infrastructure
  • global Internet traffic exchange (via Croatia and Serbia for now?)
  • creating an initial local WAN?
  • security, integrity and redundancy
  • the country-code top-level domain .LL is still available (hint, hint)
  • computers/smart phones are all leaking sensitive data. This can be avoided
  1. Sources of income/revenue (National level)

  2. Food production, “Amish-ish”?

  3. Sources of energy

If anyone cares to comment or enlighten us on the current development/state of the above, please respond and maybe suggest a better place on this forum and another structure of the different topics so they are easy to find.

Thank You, and Godspeed!

Superb topics for us to think about! I can comment on at least some of part 1.
Liberland does not plan to be part of the EU; while the idea of a common market is great, the regulatory and bureaucratic burdens - and steps to accession - are simply overwhelming. We do want good relations and trade with the EU - especially since our neighbor Croatia is an EU member. As far as the other organizations and blocs - we seek good relations, but not entangling alliances with them. Involvement with central banks are to be avoided, for reasons which are well-known. While we have our own governance and liquidity tokens, Liberland citizens are free to use any currency as legal tender in transactions with one another. Interestingly, both Montenegro and Kosovo unilaterally decided to use the euro without being part of the Eurozone. Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, and Vatican City also use euros but have agreements with the EU.

I just want to say I fully support this kind of policy.

These are all excellent points and goes right into my idea of a strategic growth plan Strategic Growth Plan - #11 by Martin_Bates

What are your ideas on the prevention of the leaking of sensitive data. I am very curious about this issue and want to know how this would be implemented.

Thank You for asking Martin!

I didn’t find that “Growth Plan #11” in a hurry, maybe I missed an obvious link? Please enlighten me if You please, thank You!

Now, about the integrity and security of sensitive information. I can’t write an “essay” in a hurry for now (I might produce a paper eventually), but shortly; Today practically every smart phone and computer connected to the Net leaks information. So does Operating Systems, certain apps, firmware and drivers. So do also hardware like CPUs and to a certain degree GPUs.

Just to mention a few we have issues like ‘calling home’, ‘hidden channels’, ‘telemetry (Minix)’, ‘ping-screen’, ‘CoPilot’ and lately ‘CoPilot+’ etc. that guarantees all data in a phone/computer will leak to certain organizations and corporations. I guess You already know who these entities are. If not, ask Snowden or any person or consultant related to Digital Criminal Forensics.

Now, for a government or state using software/hardware from Microsoft, Apple, Google, Intel, AMD and Nvidia (just to mention a few), then using their product connected to the Net will results in total transparency or leakage of sensitive (=all) data. There are certainly some concessions regarding a selected few.

But back to Your question. In order to guarantee the security and integrity of sensitive information You (LL) need a closed WAN (preferably Optical Fiber, not WiFi). In order to communicate to the rest of the world (Internet) You need Quantum Secure encryption that’s not based om symmetric or asymmetric keys as these most probably already have been leaked.

Furthermore, symmetric keys will be quickly discovered by Quantum Computing. Asymmetric keys will be found quickly as the ‘Enigma of Prime Numbers’ has already been solved years ago - but that discovery has apparently been silenced.

There are solutions to guarantee Quantum Safe encryption that would suite LL well. That is, if the UN, WHO, the US government, EU and IMF and the World Banks ‘allows’ this.

Finally, NIST (https://doi.org/10.6028/NIST.FIPS.203 + other documents) and EU have suggested a Quantum Safe encryption method to be introduced or mandated worldwide for corporations and authorities before 2030-2035. It is ‘believed’ to be Quantum Safe. I beg to differ. It will still be dependent on symmetric and asymmetric keys.

Ok, all above from the top of my head. I may have missed certain points and there might be errors. Use Your own discretion and judgement.

It was higher up on the thread Nils maybe that was the oversight. I didn’t even think about WAN but I could see an isolated fiber WAN network with the quantum secure encryption being the best option and no WiFi that system is highly exploitable to those with the right tools. think the key is network isolation something I have thought for a long time if one were to want a fully secure network and it has to be fiber based because even if a splice doesn’t happen with good enough monitoring and if it is done with a quantum pairing I think there would be little chance of intrusion.

But my information could be faulty in this area as this technology advances quickly but my college degree is in computer science and I do hold multiple US FCC licenses in the field of wireless communications.
