The LL Senate, as it is currently structured, is hereditary. Which means that membership in the Senate is passed down from father to son, father to son, until the end of time. Apparently nothing will stop this process, and so your grand-childrens lords will have been chosen for them many years before they were even born.
And also since nothing stops this process, a member of the Senate can be arrested for pedophilia (if a Senator is even ALLOWED to be arrested), and that Senator still keeps their Senate seat. Their adult child could be arrested for pedophilia 50 times and they would still be gifted the Senate seat.
It kind of makes me think of Jimmy Saville who sexually assaulted over 400 victims over 54 years (victims ranged in age from 5-75). Now Jimmy Saville wasn’t a Senator, but he was knighted by the British Queen, so it was “Sir” Jimmy Saville, the rapist. He was never charged with any of these crimes while he was alive. But, don’t worry, I am sure that none of his royal aristocrat friends helped him avoid charges during his 54 year reign of terror. It is curious though, it came out that Jimmy was raping dead bodies while doing “charity” work at hospitals, but how could anyone know this if the victims were already dead?
Now, just because Sir Jimmy and other royals such as Prince Andrew enjoyed raping underage girls (with his friend Epstein) doesn’t mean that all powerful people enjoy raping underage girls. And by that, I mean that not all powerful people will use their positions of power to commit crimes. And so not all LL Senators will use their forever positions to act immorally. Some of them might, but you can be rest assured that if it is found out that they did act immorally or commit crimes, they will STILL pass their Senate seat down to their children. At least we can know that for sure.
Then if I had to guess, these 4 were probably the ones who funded most of LL. And in return for their funds they are gifted a forever kingship. And the commoners shouldn’t worry about this because they promise not to abuse their forever power.
How about the gift to any investor is simply the chance to live and raise a family in a country where the govt won’t steal half your wealth, where the societal planning forges bonds amongst community members, and where all citizens feel empowered?
I think these 4 will have to make a choice: retain all-encompassing power over a failed state that never manifests, or give their power away so that the idea actually has a chance to live…
You mention that it would be a failed state if they were to retain power a wild idea that I had is what if it is intentional? I don’t think it is but for the sake of argument what if it is a large Ponzi scheme type setup and they get all of the money?
Ooh I do love a good “for sake of argument” argument.
But first I will agree with you that I do not think these guys are being intentionally malevolent. I believe they are overall good guys, who have made a few bad decisions, and unfortunately these few bad decisions could destroy a whole country. They need to fix their mistakes as fast as possible so we can all get back to making a phenomenal country.
But for sake of argument, if they were running a fraudulent ponzi scheme, it would probably be a really successful plan. The best con-men sell their victims on a beautiful dream and what dream is more beautiful than a new country based around retaining your god-given freedom?
Years ago, I knew people involved in a home-remodeling fraud scheme. The contractor would take the money from the people and then start work. They would get about 1/3rd of the way completed and then stop work and move on to the next house. 100’s of people were left sometimes without roofs and with no money to complete the work. The contractor was from Lebanon and simply left the country before anyone could start investigating the uncompleted jobs as crimes.
In terms of hereditary power does that mean LL will 2 legally entrenched classes of citizens like the UK does ? As in the commons and the peers? Or in LL’s case the commons and the senators?
We will find out how much of a fight it will be once the proposed constitution is revealed on December 19th in Prague. I am awaiting this event so I can either boldly support it or tear it down.
