What is Liberland’s plan for membership on the world stage? The UN is one I am sure of the EU is a hard no because of the bureaucratic system and lack of freedom within their system. Once Serbia joins the EU we would be defacto in the Schengen area like Vatican City and Monaco. ITU is another that should be considered early on with the technological component that the organization is.

Serbia is not joining EU any time soon, but … that’s interesting point. It seems it would be better for us. No more “crossing border”.
Thats why I bring this up I think the border specifically could be a double edge sword
1 there would be no border crossings as it would be inside Schengen but…
2 It would be inside Schengen and the EU could force either Croatia or Serbia into taking the land as I think the border issue one of the issues Serbia is having on joining the EU currently we need to have a seat at that discussion so Liberland is not squeezed out.

To expand on my previous post we need to get Serbia to recognize us, I think then Croatia wouldn’t think they could bully us and try to force the settlers to leave because of harassment bit we need to get Croatia to not see is as a threat but I’m just an American who has never been over there so just take my two cents for what they are worth.
In my opinion, if we join the EU I guess “Liberland” wouldn’t be an appropriate name for this republic striving towards true freedom.
True but due to the referendum that will never happen because too many people think like you and me on that issue.
