Liberland Aid Foundation celebrates Children's Week 2026The Liberland Aid Foundation marked Children's Week (Dečija nedelja) 2026 with a special event for children in the Apatin area, combining an afternoon of music and entertainment with a practical contribution to their well-being.
The Foundation donated a Voden water purification system to Little Bee School, a local preschool and kindergarten, to help provide children and staff with access to clean drinking water.
The occasion also brought together approximately 150 children for a lively performance by Bane and his Flying Guitar, a popular Serbian children's entertainer.
Liberland Aid Foundation board member Thomas Walls attended the event, introducing his friend Bane and greeting the children, teachers and local residents who had gathered for the performance.
The young audience enthusiastically joined in, singing along to nearly every song. Bane kept the children laughing with his jokes and playful exchanges, and invited several of them to take part in a friendly singing competition, giving them a chance to perform alongside him. Kids who participated in the competition also received LCD tablets donated by PulseChain (HEX).
Bane is a familiar face to young audiences across Serbia through his television program and frequent live appearances. He is also known to wider audiences for his energetic rock performances.
Staff from Liberland's Ark Village, located near Apatin, helped coordinate the event with the participating schools and provided sound equipment for the concert.
“This initiative reflects the Liberland Aid Foundation’s commitment to supporting our local community by helping schools provide clean drinking water for children,” said Thomas Walls. “And this is just the beginning. We’re looking at other schools in the area where we can make a similar contribution. Through these efforts, we want our neighbors to know that we care about their well-being and are committed to making a positive difference.”
Walls and other volunteers recently participated in a local cleanup initiative that resulted in over 50 bags of trash being collected from the roads and shoreline around the Apatin Marina.
