Equal Prosecution (piece-by-piece-Constitution)

(This is my ongoing series presenting pieces that I am formulating into my own constitution for any future country [including LL]. The wording is not set and is open to changes/additions/subtractions. Posting about it is just to stimulate debate, as should any good creator of a constitution.)

Equal Prosecution

Any govt official, or govt employee, or any other person who commits crimes within the boundaries of the country is just as open to prosecution for crimes as anyone else.

No official shall ever have the power to pardon any criminal. This does not apply to overturning a conviction in an appeals process. (Bold = Legal)

This one is pretty straight forward and should be the standard in every country. No special protection for “royals”, presidents, Rothschilds or anyone else. Pardons have been extremely abused in the US, and should be replaced with a more robust appeals process.

No arguments here it is sad that we have to explicitly state this in core legal documents…
